Ted earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1969 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1976, graduating magna cum laude. Ted is also a member of the Heuisler Honor Society, an award reserved for the top ten percent of each graduating class.
Ted practiced as an associate attorney with Zimmerman, Aldridge & Dwyer in Frederick from December 1976 to July 1978 in the general practice of law.
He has practiced law in partnership with others or alone from July, 1978, to present, specializing in real estate transactions. Ted has owned and operated several title & escrow companies and has been President and owner of Blue Ridge Title Company since 1993. In these capacities, he has conducted approximately 20,000 closings and reviewed approximately 30,000 real estate titles.

Lauren has a bachelor’s degree from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. She majored in English and Communications, with a concentration in Journalism.
Lauren began working as a member of Blue Ridge Title’s support staff in August, 2002. She has worked in every facet of Blue Ridge Title Company’s business, including recording real estate documents, processing settlements, reconciling escrow accounts and conducting settlements. She is currently co-owner and Vice-president of Blue Ridge Title Company.
Lauren will be your main contact throughout your settlement process. All contracts and title orders will be received by Lauren and she can be reached at any time for questions or concerns.

Liz has been with Blue Ridge Title for 11 years and has 20 years of experience in the title and lending industries. She is currently our Office Manager.
Liz also handles the post-closing portion of your settlement. She prepares your real estate documents for recording, records them and prepares your title insurance policies.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola College of Baltimore in 1973 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1981, recently retiring from the practice of law after 35 years’ experience.
Bill owned and operated Superior Title Company in partnership with Ted until 1993 and as President and sole owner thereafter until 2015, and continues to serve the clients of Superior Title Company.
